Piggy backing on my last post, I want to talk about healthy boundaries. The concept of personal boundaries is very important for healthy relationships. We have to be careful when we have unhealed wounds and try to set boundaries as we can place boundaries up around ourselves that are unhealthy and toxic. They can come from a place of trying to control someone else’s behavior towards you, because of your own fears and insecurities.
For example, If I am in a relationship with someone and I know that I am triggered by the topic of money, so I place a boundary up, that I will just not discuss this topic with my partner. This is a toxic boundary. You are putting it in place because you are triggered by it. It is put up to avoid your feelings. Instead of doing the hard work of really trying to understand what is behind that issue, healing the underlying cause for that trigger, and allowing yourself and your partner to be heard and understood, you remove that trigger being presented to you.
This will not solve the underlying issue, and you will find yourself faced with more and more topics/things that are off the table until there is nothing left to discuss. Healthy relationships thrive on communication and a good understanding of yourself. If there are emotions stirred around certain topics, it’s important to discover why. What are you telling yourself in that moment, that isn’t actually true. What negative self talk is going on when that topic comes up?
Take a look at the boundaries that you have in your relationships. Are they based in self love, protection, and a good understanding of your needs, or are you trying to control and avoid?

Wipe the slate clean everyday to achieve the highest vibration. Meditation is the key. Check your energy, your body, and determine what is being held onto and where you are meeting any kind of resistance. Everyday be committed to this process of cleansing and clearing your energy field. The results will be freeing. You will have more energy in your physical body as well as your light body.
Valuable clarity and insight will come as a result. Chaos is created in your mind, but you will be able to quiet this chaos by cleansing and clearing the feelings and emotions that are stuck. State what you are feeling aloud, or write about it in your journal. By getting it outside yourself into the 3D realty, you will start the process of moving this stuck energy. You will send it out to be released.
If you hold it inside it will just be picked up by your mind and feed your self limiting beliefs. It will hold you hostage in logic and fear. Get it out in whatever healthy way you can. Self expression is the best way to get it moving and purge it from your system.
You see, your body and your soul must work together. It doesn’t work if one takes control and bypasses the other. They have to work together.
Your soul will tell you how to fix what is trapped in your body, if only you would listen before there is too much damage inflicted upon it. Your physical form has a shelf life. Your soul is infinite.
This is a channeled message from one of my spirit guides.
“You are a divine being of light and love. As such you will always have a connection with spirit. Sometimes you will feel this stronger than other times.
You must watch your vibes and make sure that you are protecting your connection by staying grounded. Do something physical, mindful, or spiritual to tap into the energy of love and light.
You are a receiver and a transmitter of energy. If you are not tapped into the divine source energy, following your intuition then you are transmitting energy from your ego/logical mind. Full of fears and lower energies.
Be very mindful of what you consume, both physically and mentally, for it all has an impact on your vibration. And, because we are one, of the collective vibration By taking care of yourself, you create a healthier consciousness for all.”
Over the weekend I had a chance to hang out with my niece. I decided to take her to dinner and to play some games at Dave and Busters. We had so much fun! At dinner she got a really cool hypercolor straw that changed colors based on temperature. Which she thought was the coolest. Then I splurged and got the big card with a lot of coins on it, so we could play for a while together.
We were having a blast, until we came upon the big claw machine. She tried and tried to get a stuffed animal as big as her, but to no avail. So we took a break and played other games for a while. Then we went back to the claw machine. There was a line, and people were taking turns. Everything was going great, until my nieces turn. She dislodged the stuffy she wanted, and it would have only taken one more try and that stuffy would have been hers, but the next little girl was waiting. I know that my niece was going to be heartbroken, but everyone was taking turns so nicely. And, I could tell by looking at this little girl that she probably didn’t have these kinds of opportunities that often.
My niece is quite fortunate to be an only child of very loving and fun parents, not to mention some cool aunts and uncles. She has had so many fun experiences and has a room full of stuffies at home. She handled it like a champ even though I could tell how disappointed she was to hand the controls over to this little girl, she did it graciously but with a look of disappointment I knew that we would have to talk about.
That little girl won the prize and got that big stuffy, and showed no kindness to my niece even though it was she who set up that little miracle for her and handed over the controls. It broke my heart to watch that interaction, but it was then that I realized, sometimes you are the miracle for another person. You set someone up for a win, and there is a prize in that too.
In fact we walked over to the small crane machines close by and she won a small stuffed dog that she promptly named golden for it’s color. I paid for a little girl that had no money to play the claw next to us, and the boy on the other side won 3 stuffies at once and handed one to my niece and the little girl I had just paid for. He was so sweet, and my heart was happy.
My niece would end up coming home with a bag full of fun prizes including a stuffed sloth that was 1/2 her size, and some other fun things. She, by no means left empty handed. We had a great night, and we contributed to making that little girls experience one that she won’t forget for a while.
It’s important to look at the bigger picture. Which is sometimes hard to do in the moment, but if we can, we can affect others around us, and at the same time feed our soul by spreading love. Plus, when we do God’s work, we will be rewarded. Generosity and kindness will find you, if that is what you are putting out. So, I encourage you to be kind and generous, and teach your children to do the same. Be that miracle for someone else, no matter how small.
There are days I need a little motivation, a little pep talk, and sometimes I go to Youtube. I take a moment and center my energy, and I ask for a message. Today, this message was put in front of me, and it was exactly what I needed.
I encourage you to give it a try. You can also do this with the bible, or a motivational book you like, poetry, or even the radio. Ask for a message, and you will receive it if you are listening.
It doesn’t matter how you talk to spirit, but make it a ritual. Do the same things to prepare your mind and your body to communicate with spirit daily. When you create a ritual your body knows what to expect, and your guides and angels know that you are ready to connect.
My process starts by making sure that my journal and crystals are at hand. If there’s a crystal that stands out for me, I chose that one, otherwise I choose one that will ground me. After that I light a candle and sage my space. Sometimes I turn on frequency music, which you can find on Youtube. I then close my eyes and thank the angels for protection and imagine a white bubble of divine protection around me. I set an intention. This could be a question I have or some situation I want to dive deeper into, sometimes I just leave it all up to them.
My point is to create a process or routine to set yourself up for success. Maybe, you feel more connected when you are outside sitting under your favorite tree after a brisk walk or run. Or, it could be that you like to sit at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee before your family gets up and the day starts.
Make it a scared ritual to check in with your higher self. It affirms with yourself the importance of what you are doing, and sets the tone for communications with your holy spirits.

I began reading a book last night by Sonia Choquette called Ask Your Guides. In the first chapter of this book she says that in order to have a relationship with your spirit guides you must recognize your own spirit and get to know it.
She asks you to describe your spirit, identify what feeds it, what does it need, and what is its name. These things are so important because they help you understand your purpose in life.
Then, this morning I was scrolling through YouTube drinking my tea and this video popped up to confirm what I read. We are all unique, the things that we are energized by give us clues to our purpose. When we are energized by something our vibration rises. This not only helps us, but it helps the collective conscious to raise its vibration.
The world needs more people doing what they love. This is why it’s so important to listen to your spirit/soul/God or whatever you identify it to be. Not only will it make you happy, but it will help everyone around you.
Disclaimer…I’m not saying you should avoid you responsibilities. I’m saying take more time to do what really energizes you.
Something that energizes me is learning new things, teaching others, puzzles, art, music, dancing(even though I can’t do it well), baking, having deep conversations with interesting people, exploring, finding treasures at flea markets and thrift stores, and lots more.
What excites you?
